Guess Leila will have to grow into her new bonnet... but isn't it sweet? Perfect for a chilly fall day.

I already updated the blog once this week, but couldn't resist writing again and posting these pictures.

I'm a little sad, actually. Jon won't make it home this weekend. They're having the guys work-- possibly through next weekend, as well.

So this time he may be gone for a few weeks, with no visits home.

We'll have to figure something interesting to do on the weekends. The weekend of the 10th we plan on going to Rhinelander for a visit-- Laurie and Mark (and Mingo and Lily) will be there to shake things up a little, as well.

Last night I finally broke down and turned the heat on in our house. Thrifty-me has been trying to hold off on using the furnace as long as possible, but it's getting colder and I don't want our temp to dip below 60 degrees, with a baby in the house. It hasn't froze here at night yet, but it was about 36 degrees outside this morning, so it's getting close.
